Liverleaf, a Japanese Movie that was like John Wick if John Wick was not a hardened assassin and instead a traumatized Teenage girl.

 Liverleaf      For my listening project this weekend, I decided to rewatch a movie that burned itself into my heart. Liverleaf is a movie following the life of Nozaki, a young teenage Tokyoite girl who recently moved into a small rural town because her dad found a job there. Since she moved to this town she and her family gets ruthlessly harassed by her classmates to the point her entire house gets burnt down in a fire started by one of her bullies. At that point, she goes from innocent teenage girl to John Wick on a mission of revenge against the assailants.  SPOILERS TIME      This movie does not shy away from brutality. The police and teachers , as per usual in movies like these, are irrelevant and so useless that the teenagers get to fight each other like it's Battle Royale. DEEP FAKER and DAMN

 Self Intro:   はじめまして。わたしはあんです。 だいがくせいのいちねんせいです。わたしはアメリカ人です。どうぞ よろしくおねがいします。 Japanese media: I watched the music video for a song I like called  変更 or Nisekao. This song is very catchy and was recommended to me by a friend. The song's music video is quite strange and dark, but it's has an interesting style. From what I can tell, the song is about a man's gradual descent into madness, as he goes to the club and gets lost in the heat of the moment, perhaps to avoid something he'd prefer not to face. Highly recommend watching. Click here to watch--> :D I also watched Damn by Fuji Kaze which also seemed to be another man's descent into madness but in a more unreal and less sad way. Damn was more ridiculous (in a fun way) and Fuji Kaze reminded me of Elvis Presley at the start of the music videos. Both these music included English sayings which I found interesting. I find in a lot of foreign songs , whether it is French, Korean, or Japanese, English Phrases/Words. A...
