I watched the music video for a song I like called 変更 or Nisekao. This song is very catchy and was recommended to me by a friend. The song's music video is quite strange and dark, but it's has an interesting style. From what I can tell, the song is about a man's gradual descent into madness, as he goes to the club and gets lost in the heat of the moment, perhaps to avoid something he'd prefer not to face. Highly recommend watching.
I also watched Damn by Fuji Kaze which also seemed to be another man's descent into madness but in a more unreal and less sad way. Damn was more ridiculous (in a fun way) and Fuji Kaze reminded me of Elvis Presley at the start of the music videos. Both these music included English sayings which I found interesting. I find in a lot of foreign songs , whether it is French, Korean, or Japanese, English Phrases/Words. At least in the songs which I have listened to. However, in popular American produced music- it is rare to have songs which include words other than English. An exception I could think of is the Musician Mitski who is mixed Japanese-American. She sometimes includes Japanese phrases in her songs.
