休み

 

ふゆの休みはしゅしいんにかえります。それから、Finalのテストーがたくさんありますから、とてもいそがしです。でも、毎年かぞくのうちでクリスマスのバーティーがありますから、私はとてもげんきです。クリスマスは二十月二四日です。それから、かぞくいっしょにおおしいたベものたくさんをつくります。毎日、私はいいたべものをたべます。私もペットとあそびます。毎日、とてもたのしいですよ！o(^_^)

For my Japanese learning, I feel I have come a long way. I have always had interest in Japanese dramas and movies with English subtitles, however being able to actually comprehend even partly what the characters actually saying has increased my engagement and understanding. It has been very fun throughout the semester to binge Japanese films and to learn more about kanji. My favorite thing was learning about the kanji for fireworks or 花火

being a combination of the kanji for flower 花 and the kanji for volcano 火. It feels almost too perfect. I hope to learn more kanji in the future and increase my understanding on the language.
